Evenflo bottle nipple collaps.?
hello,
I have changed my baby bottles from avent(plastic) to evenflo glass bottle few weeks ago. but I am having a problem because the fast flow nipple causes my baby to have gas and cramps while the slow flow collapse all the time . therefore, she gets tired of sucking and don't drink her milk. Does someone has an idea if there is another nipple that can fit the evenflo glass bottle and does not collapse? By the way, I did not have that problem with avent bottle but I stop using it due to BPA level on plastic bottles.

It is possible that you are tightening the lid too tight. One of the features of the Evenflo bottles is that you can adjust the flow a bit by loosening or tightening the cap - so try that and see if it works.
When my children were small, 12 to 15 years ago, now, there were three or four different types of nipple you could buy for Evenflo bottles, of varying levels of flo, ranging from one with one small pinhole in it, to one with a cross cut in it, which I mostly used when I added rice cereal to their bottles when they were older.
When we ran into the problem you are having, we would take a pin and heat it up so that it was very hot (hold the pin with a pair of pliers), then we would either insert the hot pin into the hole that was already there and wiggle it around a bit to make the hole a little larger, or we would make a couple more holes. It was an inexact science, and sometimes it took more than one try, but it did work.
