Adding more powder formula to baby bottle ?
I know this may be a silly question but can I add just a little extra powder formula to my sons bottles to help fill him up more. He is on Enfamil nutramigen and it seems to go through him so quickly. He is 3 weeks old. He is drinking about 5 to 5 half oz( sometimes more) every 2-4 hours(closer to 3). I don't mean alot but maybe doing 5 half oz of water and adding 3 full scoops instead of 2 half scoops. Is there any side effects of doing this? Has anyone done this? And if so did you find that your baby felt more satisfied and full? Please no rude responses just like every other mother out there I am just trying to get through the joys of parenthood(w/2 childern) without losing my mind in the process.
no it makes it too thick if you want to keep him fuller make 5 and a half oz and put 2 and a quarter scoops 3 hours is normal for a baby to eat and i doubt it will make him want to eat less my son is 7 months and he still eats every three hours except at night
