Is the Playtex Petite pump any good?
I thought the Playtex Petite Double Electric Pump would be great- cause I use the Playtex bottles... and the price was great. But i am reading alot of bad reviews on Babies R Us. I need a pump for everyday use. I will be breastfeeding but also pumping. Will this pump be ok for me? I know the Medela pumps are the best- but I can not see paying that much
If you are going to be pumping evry day, then go ahead and buy the Medela. I tried Playtex and it is ok for occasional use but it won't work for a lot of pumping. you can look for a used Medela as long as you get your own new accessories. They warn you not to because of liability issues but there has never actually been a case of anybody getting any kind of disease from using a used breastpump. A lot of women do it. I had to pump full time with my daughter and used Medela Pump-in-Style and it worked very well.
